The Importance Of Staying Away From Dangerous Procedures

As a woman, you are constantly encouraged by the media and by society in general to have the perfect body and to have a perfect figure. In most cases, the standard for a perfect body and the perfect figure is one that is dictated by the media and most women unfortunately feel pressured in to having these bodies and these body shapes. As long as women and men alike are healthy, they need to know that having a body shape that is different from the media portrayal of the “perfect body” is completely fine.

Body acceptance
The media is well known for its sexist way of portraying women and it is importance that every one of us takes it upon ourselves to encourage body acceptance among young people, especially girls by showing them that bodies of all shapes, provided that they are healthy are beautiful. There are many large corporations that are trying to make money off young girls by promoting dangerous procedures such as facial filler treatment that can leave a girl permanently scarred for life but these corporations rarely ever speak of the side effects and the dangers of these procedures because their key goal is to make money off the insecurities of these women.

Similarly there are other procedures such as non-surgical nosejob, breast enlargement procedures and others that are extremely unnecessary and very expensive. It is important for us to realize for ourselves and create awareness among our families and friends that procedures such as these are unnecessary and dangerous.

One of the best things that you can do for society as a woman is to launch a social media campaign educating young girls and boys alike about the dangers of these procedures. In addition to this, you can speak about body confidence, different body shapes and also the importance of healthy living because it is important that people do not mix up body confidence with being comfortable with obesity as a result of an unhealthy lifestyle.

Healthy living
It would be a very good idea for you to have a dietician or a nutritionist join you to help educate young people about the importance of living healthy. Unfortunately obesity is one of the biggest problems that the world is facing at this present time and obesity is something that needs to be treated. While this does not mean having expensive and dangerous procedures done to your body, it means finding better ways of losing the fat such as switching to a plant based lifestyle and living a healthy life.
